Notes: In order to compile analysiscut2 as user chicos, we had to change the default version of root from ROOT 4 to ROOT 5. The arrayReporting program needed to be recompiled. In the shell script dailyshower.sh, which calls analysiscut2, the version of root is now specified as $ROOTSYS/bin/root instead of /cern/root/bin/root.
The code associated with this version of Analysicut2 is saved as Version 3.1, and located in /home/chicos/analysis/3.1/sf.
I checked that analysiscut runs correctly when called from the command prompt, by running on July 17 - 30 (the days after the old version stopped working). There is a note on the newshowers pages that indicates where the switchover happened. Eventually all the old pages will be replaced with those generated by analysicut2, which I am running from my account in the background each day, at which point that note won't be necessary. However, there is a complete backup of the shower pages generated by the original code in /chiserverhtml/arraydata/showers-backup-31july06.
