CHICOS LDF

The following links are to plots made from the AIRES simulations at Chiquita energies: 10^16, 10^16.5, 10^17, 10^17.5. At each energy there are plots for cos theta = 0.95, 0.85, and 0.75.

Electrons are plotted in blue, muons in red, and gammas in black. Error bars represent the standard deviation over the 10 runs.

For a quicker summary, I have also plotted the total LDF (electrons+muons) for each energy at a given angle, and for each angle at a given energy.

The macros used to generate these plots are the following:

  1. EBplots.C For generating the distribution of electrons, muons, and gammas for a given energy and angle. Creates two plots: one with the average of each type superimposed on all individual runs, and one with the average electron, muon, and sum.
  2. EBldfs.C For generating the average ldf for each energy at a given angle on the same plot.
  3. EBldfs2.C For generating the average ldf for each angle at a given energy on the same plot.
