I have added two cuts on the data:
- Changed area cut from 3000m from a site to 2500m from a site
- Discarded any showers with two triggers separated by more than 10 us
This brings the total number of showers down to 275 (from 284) and the total number of showers after the angle cut to 208 (from 212). So only 4 showers are discarded from the useful data set, 2 of which were above 10^21 eV and clearly unreliable.
