New Showers

I am updating autoFit4 to hopefully make it able to go through the list of new showers and find a new set of best candidates automatically. Changes include:

To get an idea of how this code performs, I ran it on the current set of 120 Best Candidate showers.

Showers in 2003 which were the same as the example reconstructions:

12-26-03 Leaves off one (slightly late) CIT 1000 hit.

Showers in 2003 which differed:

01-29-03 Now fails (3 sites). Sample reconstruction IGN'd a healthy unhit site.
03-03-03 Now fails (3 sites). Sample reconstruction also only kept 3 sites.
04-19-03 Keeps Southwestern. Looks OK.
05-17-03 Presence of Alverno in first iteration throws off the fit. (Time = -16 us, Dist is nearly 10 km)
06-14-03 Chiquita shower. Fit removes too many ok hits.
06-27-03 Similar set of data points, but different core location and energy.
08-17-03 Keeps Southwestern. Looks OK.

It will take too long to go through the rest of the showers one-by-one but a common problem was that a shower is keeping a far-off hit that then throws off the fit of the rest of the shower. Some examples:

02-06-05 Extra hit is throwing off the fit. About 7 km away. Hit is nearly in time.
06-01-05 Hit at nearly 10 km out is throwing off the fit. Alhambra is removed from the shower. Hit is in time.
09-20-05 Hit about 8 km out is causing 3 good hits to be removed from the shower. Hit is 7 us out of time.
11-08-05 Hit about 5 km away affects shower but still ok. Hit is 6 us out of time.
12-15-05 Hit about 8 km away causes 2 good sites to be removed from the shower. Hit is in time.
12-17-05 Hit about 8 km away included but shower still ok. Hit is 26 us out of time.
02-23-06 Hit about 8 km away included but shower still ok. Hit is 16 us out of time.
03-08-06 Hit nearly 10 km away included but shower still ok. Hit is 19 us out of time.
08-30-06 Hit about 8 km away included but shower still ok. Hit is 20 us out of time.
03-05-07 (File overwritten with second shower on the same day...)

I want to have the largest possible subset of showers with the best possible reconstructions. Possible ways to improve the current set:
