Running analysiscut2 on old data:
New ShowersI have updated the autoFit program. autoFit4 has been replaced by autoFit5. Currently they are effectively the same, but I am still tweaking autoFit5.
I have been testing this on simulated showers and the real showers being found by analysiscut2, and one peculiar thing has come up. The same code behaves slightly differently on lancer than it does on chiserver. Some fits are slightly different, and in one case that I've found so far, this causes a shower to be rejected on lancer even though it passes on chiserver. The shower is on 01-23-03. The chiserver fit looks nice: 01-23-03 Chiserver version. The fit on lancer is substantially different: 01-23-04 Lancer version. On lancer, fit to site 114 is more than 5 us wrong and so that site is eliminated, leaving the shower with too few sites to pass the cut.
--->Update: I believe the problem arises from the fact that chiserver and lancer have different gcc versions. Chiserver's is older and should probably be updated, if it doesn't cause problems with other programs.
