Maranatha was formerly located where Judson School is now.  We had a site there
that was originally called "Maranatha" but is now called "Judson."  That site 
is in operation, under its original CHICOS site number.

We discussed the installation of a new "Maranatha" site on the current 
Maranatha campus.  This new site would have a brand new site number.  
Discussions took place in summer 2005.  Photos were taken then.  The current 
Maranatha campus is part of the old campus of Ambassador College.

An installation plan was not easy to find.  The problem is how to deliver 
shmoos to the science building rooftop (near Del Mar).  The rooftop is ~3 
stories up, and the surrounding area will not admit a crane.  AC units and the 
like were delivered by helicopter.  Raul Turcios (Caltech transportation)
visited the site with me and did not see a good installation route.

We could place shmoos on the ground, but in addition to the usual safety 
concerns we would be facing possible Pasadena beautification and/or landmark 
preservation approval.

No viable plan was made or agreed on.  Willingness is still in place.  In 
addition to Ed Newkirk (science chair), I was also in contact with Dave 
Ekstrand (physical plant).
