Studying cosmic rays is a great way to bring recent, cutting edge science into the classroom. The CHICOS array detects particle showers created by ultra high energy cosmic rays and will help answer questions like, "Where do ultra high energy cosmic rays originate?" and "How are ultra high energy cosmic rays accelerated?".

Classroom and extracurricular activities address topics in astronomy, physics, and subatomic chemistry at a variety of grade levels (currently 5-12).
